The National Council for Human Rights offers its condolences to Morocco for the victims of the earthquake

Ambassador Moushira Khattab, President of the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) and President of the Arab Network for National Human Rights Institutions, offered her sincere condolences and sympathy to the people and government of the Kingdom of Morocco, in its name and in the name of all those affiliated with NCHR, in this painful event that resulted in hundreds of victims and injured in a number of Moroccan cities.

Khattab confirmed that this earthquake and the resulting loss of lives and property afflicted all Egyptians with grief and sadness. She said, "We are confident that the Moroccan people are able to overcome this difficult ordeal because of their ability to overcome crises." Ambassador Khattab extends her sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all those injured.
