The National for Human Rights receives students from New Giza University in an interactive dialogue on human rights

Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) and New Giza University, NCHR held an interactive dialogue on the vision of students at New Giza University for Human Rights over the course of two days, December 3-4, 2023. This activity comes within NCHR’s work plan in cooperation with the European Union.

The activity aims to create a generation of human rights defenders and ambassadors and enhance their knowledge and abilities to defend human rights in their respective fields.

It is worth noting that Ambassador Mushira Khattab held several meetings in which she interacted with more than 8,000 young university students and listened to their point of view.

This meeting will be followed by a series of interactive meetings with young people, focusing on the basic human rights principles in the Egyptian Constitution, international human rights instruments, and the importance of human rights in society.

This meeting coincides with the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights on December 10.
