NCHR condems Al-Aqsa mosque storming, calls upon international community to address these violations

The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), chaired by Ambassador Dr. Moushira Khattab, has condemned Israeli forces storming of Al-Aqsa mosque and the attack of civilians inside the mosque leading to several injuries and the detention of hundreds of individuals, describing this move as a serious violation of international law and human rights.

The NCHR stressed that this attack on the mosque in Ramadan holy month shall increase hatred and extremism sentiments.

Therefore, the NCHR called upon the international community, most notably the UN Security Council, to urgently move to address the repeated violations and provide protection to the Palestinian people and holy places.
