NCHR holds a training course on “Human Rights Fundamentals

The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), today started a training course on “Human Rights Fundamentals and Boosting Complaints Handling”. The course aims to strengthen the capacities of human rights units in the different governorates and reinforce cooperation and coordination with the council in the process of complaints processing.
The three-days training course is attended by 22 trainees, representing human rights units and departments in the governorates of Qena, Luxor, Minya, Giza, North Sinai, South Sinai, Damietta and Alexandria. Furthermore, the event is also attended by the representatives of 7 non-governmental organisations, and the representatives of NCHR branches in 5 governorates, namely; Suez, Beni Suef, Portsaid, Qalioubiyah and Aswan.
