The National Council for Human Rights Mourns the Loss of Makram Mohamed Ahmed

With a deep grief, The National Council for Human Rights, which is presided over by Mr. Mohamed Fayek, mourns the loss of the veteran thinker and journalist Makram Mohamed Ahmed, the former Head of Egypt's Supreme Council for Media Regulation, and the former council member, who passed away this morning.

Mr. Mohamed Fayek stated that Egypt has lost a distinguished writer and thinker with the death of the late Makram Mohamed Ahmed, who has worked hard and honestly to serve the country, through the positions he took over during his career. Mr. Mohamed Fayek sends his condolences to the deceased’s family and students, and the members of the journalistic community.
