Continuing the National Council for Human Rights’ Training Programme in Suez

The training program, held by the National Council for Human Rights, continues for the second day, this morning, on September 23, 2020. The programme aims to qualify employees of the General Office (Diwan) of the Suez governorates and its neighborhoods. This is part of the NCHR’s action strategy for supporting and building the capacities of employees working in the executive bodies, which will, as a consequence, help spreading, promoting and protecting the culture of human rights. 

The first day has featured several topics, including the concepts and basic terms of human rights, the NCHR’s role as a national institution for human rights, principles of the Convention on Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women and how best to activate the role of the committees and units in the governorate.
