NCHR mourns Field Marshal Mohamed Tantawi

The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR), led by H.E Mohamed Fayek, mourned FieldMarshal Mohamed Tantawi, Head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (SCAF), and Minister of Defence, who passed away today.
The NCHR President highlighted that Egypt has lost of the glorious October War heroes and one of the country’s military icons, who has taken over the responsibility of leading the country at a critical period of its history, rising to to some of the most difficult challenges Egypt has faced in its contemporary history.
H.E Mohamed Fayek has extended his condolences to the family of the deceases and all members of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
